MONTESSORI TERM TIME POSITION, ISLINGTON

We are seeking an experienced, qualified Montessori teacher for an established and successful Montessori Nursery School in Islington with an excellent reputation.

The right candidate will need to display a genuine love and passion for childcare and the Montessori teaching methods. We are looking for a bright, articulate and personable "Montessorian" to join this established team from March 2025

Benefits;

• Excellent Salary-paying up to £28,000 per annum
• Permanent contract based on term time role
• Hours of work; Mon-Thursday 8am to 5pm and Friday 8am to 2pm

As Montessori Teacher your role and responsibilities will include;

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing lessons
• Providing a safe and stimulating environment that facilitates learning organising and supervising play and work activities.
• Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress and attainment of students
• The successful candidate will:
  • Be an outstanding early years practitioner
  • Hold a recognised Montessori Teaching qualification or alternatively EYPS,  EYT, QTS or Equivalent
  • Have excellent knowledge of how young children learn and develop
  • Have a clear educational philosophy and vision regarding early years learning and teaching
  • Specifically able to prepare children transiting to school academically, socially and emotionally
  • Be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively with both students and parents
