For Nurseries

Purple Dove provides nursery bank staff for daily, weekly and longer-term cover.

Vetted bank staff

All agency workers will have a DBS issued within 3 months at the point they starting with us and/or will be registered on the update service.

We do the Paperwork

We collect all paperwork with photo ID, proof of address, proof of qualification if childcare/early years related, two satisfactory references and of course a clear DBS plus we ask if they have PFA or EFA certificate.

Ideal qualifications

We do consider unqualified candidates with childcare experience; these positions are also ideal for students wanting flexible work or holiday work. But ideally, we’d look for a minimum of a L2/L3 qualification in childcare.

Benefits for bank staff

• Competitive rates, starting at £10 per hour.
• We work with your availability, on a weekly basis.
• We pay you weekly.

Ideal Requirements for nursery positions

• Availability; 3 or more full days per week, between 8am and 6pm.
• Be willing to travel up to an hour.
• Hold a full and relevant early years childcare qualification level 2 or higher.
• Have some experience working with the early years (0-5y) age group.
• Have an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS issued within 3 months (or signed up to the update service) or be willing to undergo a new one with Purple Dove Recruitment Ltd.

Bank staff have to understand and apply the nursery’s policies and procedures like a permanent employee.
